The HyFin® Vent Chest Seal Twin Pack from North American Rescue sets the standard for the prevention, management, and treatment of an open or tension pneumothorax caused by penetrating chest trauma.
Each pack includes two individually packaged seals, giving you the option to treat both an entry and exit wound, or keep one in reserve for a second casualty or injury site. The patented 3-vent channel design allows air to escape the chest cavity during exhalation while preventing outside air from entering during inhalation, with a built-in fail-safe so the seal keeps working even if two of the three channels become blocked.
Please note: due to its full size, this chest seal will not fit inside the Traumoto LITE, PRO, or WINGMAN kits. If you're looking for a chest seal sized to fit one of those kits, check out our compact hyfin chest seal option instead.
