Burn Dressing

Introduction


Select Traumoto kits include a sterile Burnshield® burn dressing. This dressing is designed to be compact, easy to carry, and ready for emergency use.


Purpose


A burn dressing is designed to:


  • Cover burn and road rash injuries.
  • Help cool the affected area.
  • Protect the wound from outside contamination.
  • Provide a moist protective barrier.


Basic Operation


  1. Inspect the package for damage before opening.
  2. Tear open the package.
  3. Remove the burn dressing.
